Hair and products may be returned within 30 days of purchase if unopened and in their original condition.

Exchange Policy

Hair and products may be exchanged within 60 days of purchase if unopened and in their original condition.

Exchanges may be completed as a direct-value exchange, or the value of the returned product may be applied as a credit toward an order of greater value.

Client Expectations & Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

Speak Easy Hair Extensions offers a 3-month limited manufacturer defect warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to verified manufacturing defects.

Manufacturing defects may include:

• Excessive or abnormal shedding caused by weft construction
• Structural issues determined to be manufacturing-related
• Defects in stitching, weft construction, or bonding upon initial use

All warranty claims must be submitted within 3 months of the original purchase date.

Defective Hair Must Be Returned

All hair submitted for a manufacturer defect claim must be returned to Speak Easy Hair Extensions for inspection.

If replacement hair is approved and sent, the hair associated with the original claim is still required to be returned. Receiving replacement hair does not eliminate the requirement to return the claimed defective product.

Speak Easy Hair Extensions will not continue to issue replacement hair to accounts that request new hair but fail to return hair associated with previous manufacturer defect claims.

If an account has outstanding defective hair that was required to be returned, the account may be ineligible to receive additional warranty replacements until the outstanding hair has been received and reviewed.

Returning the affected hair allows Speak Easy Hair Extensions and our manufacturing partners to inspect the product, verify quality concerns, identify potential manufacturing issues, and maintain a fair and consistent warranty program for all customers and professional partners.

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover the following, as these are considered normal wear, environmental conditions, maintenance factors, or user-related changes:

• Length shrinkage or compaction over time
• Trimming, cutting, layering, or other customization after installation
• Changes caused by heat styling, brushing, friction, or normal daily wear
• Maintenance practices, including oiling, conditioning, washing, or product use
• Environmental factors including sun exposure, minerals, humidity, hard water, chlorine, or salt water
• Color changes, fading, oxidation, or warmth that develops over time
• Install timing or the length of time hair is stored before installation

The installation date is not used to determine warranty eligibility. Warranty coverage is based solely on the original purchase date.

Important Expectations

Hair extensions are a luxury wearable product and will naturally change over time with wear, styling, washing, maintenance, and environmental exposure.

Gradual shortening, softening of the ends, and natural texture evolution are expected characteristics of worn hair extensions and do not, on their own, indicate a manufacturing defect.

For best longevity, we strongly recommend following Speak Easy Hair Extensions’ approved aftercare guidelines and setting clear expectations with clients regarding lifespan, maintenance, and normal wear.

Final Policy Note

To ensure fairness and consistency for all customers and professional partners, exceptions, replacements, credits, or discounts cannot be offered outside the terms of this policy.

Warranty replacements are provided specifically to resolve verified manufacturer defects and are subject to the return and inspection requirements outlined above.
